Hedoine Packaging
A collection of collaborations, gifting merchandise & offline product packaging.
As an online B2C, the packaging is the first IRL experience customers have with Hedoine.
With this in mind, it has been important for us to create assets that speak the same visual language as our online brand and support the premium product experience while echoing Hedoine’s environmental values.
We take extra care to ensure there is no plastic in our packaging and that print materials use FSC or recycled paper and are also recyclable. Our tote bags are made from recycled water bottles and the tissue paper is biodegradable. Below is a collection of our most recent packaging assets, from product launches, collaborations to inseams and swing tags.
The final piece is a new envelope to replace our current tights box and outer packaging. It is made from FSC certified recyclable paper with an accordion front to allow for 2 pairs of tights (60 denier or less) or 1 pair of 100 denier tights with a slot for seasonal promotions.
Retail Packaging
Before Hedoine could be stocked in Selfridges & KaDeWe, we needed to design our retail packaging. This was a first for us, we keep our packaging minimal and sleek as everything a customer needed was available online. We also had limitations built around our existing packaging.
To solve this problem, I designed a sleeve to wrap around the outside of our signature black square box. The sleeve allowed us to communicate the product it contained, it’s USPs but also give the classic Hedoine customer experience. For hygiene reasons tights are unable to be tried on in stores so this packaging is designed to allow customers to be informed of the correct sizing and waistband without needing to put them on. Alongside this, you can easily find the colour, size and waistband across the top of the box.
The sheer quantity of SKUs meant the roll out of the project was not an easy task but numerous rounds of proofing, tracking documentation and careful project management helped my team to successfully produce these within a very short timeframe.
